We love our home. We love our families. We want the best for them both.
We are a community of families and individuals who are going green without sacrificing lifestyle and on a budget.
Hence the name Going-Green-Challenge.com
How We Came About
It started with a few of us gathering (mostly online) to discuss the challenges of going green.
Our reasons for going green vary.
Some of us worry about future generations.
Some of us want a simpler life.
Some of us want to get our kids off the couch and into the great outdoors.
Other than going green, we all had something else in common:

Individually, we were overwhelmed.
The green language of carbon footprints, wind energy, and eco-travel is enough to make anyone's head spin.
Together, we are motivated.
It's so much easier to tackle something
new if you have friends doing it too. Each week, we take on a new green challenge together. We try it out with our families and see if it works. Some stick.
Some don't.
For those that don't, we try to ditch the green guilt and look at it like this:
