Energy Star Rebates

Consumers in many states are taking advantage of Energy Star rebates on select appliances.

Funded by $300 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the program often called "Cash for Appliances" is helping bring energy efficient appliances to many American homes. Individual states choose which appliances will qualify in their region.

  • Room Air Conditioners
  • Refrigerators
  • Freezers
  • Dishwashers
  • Clothes Washers

Individual states are responsible for administering rebates for the program. States also determine how much each rebate will be, estimating from $50-$200. Before heading to the stores, see the rebate finder above to check your local rules.
