For Stubborn Spots, try one of these Homemade Stain Removers:

Pet Stains:
Clean up soiled areas. Blot excess moisture with towel. Allow to air dry. Using a spray bottle, spot treat with the Homemade Carpet Shampoo recipe.

Ink Stains:
Blot excess ink, being careful not to smear it. Add small amount of alcohol. Gently blot until stain disappears. Don't rub! This will further spread the stain.

Blood Stains:
Treat as soon as possible. Using cold water, blot excess blood with cloth or sponge. Try not to smear it. Gently blot until stain disappears. If necessary, add a small amount of club soda or homemade laundry soap and repeat steps.
