With all of the great reasons to go green, it still means committing to change.

We all know how it works; change means rocking the boat and moving outside of our comfort zone.

If you are like us, you enjoy the disposable lifestyle.

I've always cared about the environment, but never felt too bad if there wasn't a recycle bin nearby. I would throw out my water bottle in the first available trash can and move on. Out of sight and out of mind, for a while anyway.

So, how do we move outside of our comfort zone?

Find something that sparks your green journey.

The "why" in why go green is unique and personal for each of us.

There were two defining moments in our lives. Snorkeling near green sea turtles was an amazing experience. Shortly after, we learned of the mass pile of ocean garbage in their waters. Later that year, our son was born. We knew we had to make better choices for his generation.

Turtles and parenthood. Two great reasons why we are finding small ways to make big changes to our home!

What Sparked Your Green Journey?

Was it a visit to the local landfill? To simplify life? Plastic shopping bags floating through your city park?

We would love to hear your story!
