It's not! I never thought we could make our busy lives more eco-friendly. Installing solar panels or buying a hybrid car may be great for the environment, but it also means we couldn't pay the mortgage.

Our family has learned that simple steps can be taken to a greener life. Start recycling, for example.

We obviously aren't environmentalists. We are typical Midwesterners who spent our younger days roasting marshmallows over piles of burning trash. It's nothing to be proud of, but we aren't looking back.
